MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
This camp will present students to disciplines of engineering and help them keep up with today’s expanding STEM revolution. Applied, task-oriented learning is the keystone of engineering. The fledgling engineers will devote the majority of time planning and constructing an assortment of machines, cars, and other gadgets. As they work cooperatively to answer questions they will learn to collaborate and think critically. Just a few of the idea’s students will consider include gravity, energy, friction, voltage, current, resistance, tension. The young scientists will construct numerous vehicles that employ, motors, rubber bands, gears, balloons and much more. Find branches of this camp in Los Angeles, Hollywood, California.

Whether you are a first time programmer who wants to acquire exciting new skills and participate in friendly team competition, or if you are experienced with the Lego EV3 robot, this is the camp for you! If you want to improve your robotics game and gain experience with the Tetrix Prime System, this camp offers many exciting new opportunities.

SUMO- robotics
In this competition the campers have designed robots that adhere to precise dimensions for weight and size. This particular game is grounded in the Japanese art of Sumo. The kids carefully design robots that have superior force, control and power.
The robots fight for position and attempt to push their opponents outside the designated boundaries. The competitors improve their knowledge of machine-driven advantage. Every robot has some feature that will provide mechanical advantage over other robots. The participants have many games and learn to make adjustments and modifications to improve the efficiency of their machines. The sportsmanship and collaboration is inspirational. Players are also quick to compliment opponents on creativity and imagination. They offer each other counsel and commend their opponents after every event.
SOCCER- Robots
After each team has carefully engineered their various robots each team positions their robots on opposing sides of the arena. They await the indicator to commence. Teams control their robots with blue-tooth connections and game controllers. They try to score goals by directing the ball into the net. The young engineers have constructed original designs for their Soccer robots. The campers create robots that specialize in the game of soccer. The campers have utilized additional motors to create various shooting devices. They can capture and shoot with specialized attachments. Large tables allow for teams of two players each. They work the ball down the playing surface and try to score before time runs out. These Soccer-Robots compete on custom designed tables and score goals using a miniature ball.
Calling all Robot and Lego Enthusiasts! This camp will help learners focus on adding sensors and motors to build many inspired projects. With new and exciting challenges, each team will work together to design innovative solutions while having fun in a supportive environment. Are you imaginative? Do you enjoy experimenting? Join us for a fun week of creating, building and testing with a number of fun engineering activities. Campers will also Jump into the future for this summer camp! Have you ever wanted to program a robot to tell a joke or shoot a ball into a goal? How about exploring programs to complete a task like qualified engineers and inventors? If so, join us for a fun week of discovering robotics and what it takes to program them. The robots will come in all shapes and sizes and are only limited by the camper’s imagination. This camp has plenty of robotics fun for every type and level of learner! Novices will learn how to build and program a Lego EV3 robot to complete missions in a Lego League type routine. They can compete against other teams to complete missions by programming and constructing a robot that best suits the challenge. Experienced Lego Leaguers will also contend with one another after spending time exploring new methods using gears and alternate Lego materials that will improve success. Expanding intellectual perspective is a goal for this camp. Teams will work together to design innovative solutions while enjoying the camp.
